Prof. Toho Cholik Mutohir
Prof. Drs. Toho Cholik Mutohir, MA., Ph.D. is a Professor at the Faculty of Sports and Health Sciences, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. He is widely known for his contributions to sports education, sports policy, and national sports development in Indonesia.
He earned his Ph.D. from Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia, in Educational Research and Evaluation. Throughout his career, he has held several major leadership roles, including Rector of IKIP Surabaya, Director General of Sports at the Ministry of National Education, Secretary to the Minister of State for Youth and Sports, and Special Advisor for Sports Development.
Prof. Toho has played an important role in establishing national sports institutions and policies, including the Indonesian Anti-Doping Agency, the National Sports Accreditation Institute, and national sports laws. He has also helped initiate major sports events and programs in Indonesia.
At present, he teaches research methodology, supervises postgraduate students, participates in academic seminars, and serves as a reviewer for international sports journals.
