Prof. Cheng-Feng Lin is Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy, College of Medicine, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. She received her BS in Physical Therapy and MS in Biomedical Engineering from National Cheng Kung University, and completed her PhD in Human Movement Science, Biomechanics Track, at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her research integrates physical therapy, biomechanics, sports science, rehabilitation, and biomedical engineering, with particular expertise in motion analysis, lower-extremity biomechanics, orthopedic physical therapy, sports injury prevention, dance injuries, ACL injury prevention, ankle instability, and rehabilitation device design.

Since joining NCKU in 2007, Prof. Lin has led the Motion Analysis and Injury Prevention Laboratory and has served as Director of the Musculoskeletal Research Center since 2016. She was Chair of the Department of Physical Therapy from 2020 to 2023 and remains active in teaching, clinical service, student supervision, and interdisciplinary research aimed at improving movement performance, preventing injury, and advancing rehabilitation outcome

Prof. Eef Hogervorst is Professor of Biological Psychology at Loughborough University, United Kingdom. She completed her PhD at Maastricht University on age-related cognitive decline and later worked at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, as a neuropsychologist and epidemiologist studying Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and cognitive ageing.

Her research focuses on early dementia screening, cognitive ageing, and modifiable risk and protective factors for dementia, including hormones, exercise, nutrition, psychosocial factors, and lifestyle. Since joining Loughborough University in 2005, she has developed international collaborations in the UK, China, India, Indonesia, and Australia, and has contributed to dementia diagnosis, dementia-friendly design, and interventions to improve cognition and mood in older adults

Dr. Mensink earned his MSc in Health Sciences, specialization Movement Sciences, and Medicine from Maastricht University, where he also completed his PhD in 2003 on the interplay between diet, physical activity and skeletal muscle fatty acid metabolism in the development of type 2 diabetes. Following postdoctoral research on muscular fat accumulation and insulin action, he joined Wageningen University’s Division of Human Nutrition and Health in 2008.

Since 2019 his work is positioned in the chair Nutritional Biology, which primarily focuses on the significance of nutrition to maintain or improve a persons’ physical and cognitive performance during ageing, recovery and rehabilitation. Dr Mensink is responsible for the research theme ‘Nutrition, Physical activity and Sports’, and involved in the research themes ‘Protein Digestion & Absorption’ and ‘Nutrition and aging’; and he is responsible for body composition and energy metabolism methodology in the division of Human Nutrition & Health (Health Research Unit). In addition to academic teaching he developed the MOOC Nutrition, Exercise and Sports, and coordinates postgraduate courses on energy metabolism, body composition and stable isotope methods in nutrition research. Dr. Mensink serves since 2021 as board member of the European Nutrition Leadership Platform (ENLP); until 2025 as co-director of the annual ENLP Essentials Seminar, and since 2025 as secretary to the board.
